MicroNet Technology has unveiled a Network Attached Storage solution for the masses, combining multi-terabyte capacity, integrated print server, iTunes music server and zero-touch automated backup starting at less than $350.
Available in 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 TB capacities, the Fantom Drives G-Force MegaDisk NAS appliances are based on dual-core processor and feature integrated print and iTunes music servers. All functions are managed and monitored via universal web interface, and RAID disk configurations include RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD, and SPAN. In addition to dual SATA300 disk drives with Native Command Queuing technology, NAS comes with NTI Shadow, which offers real-time, continuous/scheduled data backup.
The Fantom Drives G-Force MegaDisk NAS products are currently available in 1.0 TB, 1.5 TB and 2.0 TB configurations priced at $339, $579 and $999 respectively.
