ILOG Launches Rules for COBOL

ILOG has released its ILOG Rules for COBOL, an add-on module for ILOG JRules. Available for ILOG JRules business rule management system (BRMS), the ILOG Rules for COBOL add-on module helps organizations with IBM mainframe investments simplify legacy modernization efforts (including SOA migration). The module enables IBM mainframe customers to author and manage rules written against native COBOL data structures as well as deploy these rules. This facilitates policy change management implementation in response to regulatory or market pressures. Both the ILOG Rules for COBOL add-on module and ILOG JRules 6.7 are now available.
