LIN Bus microcontroller drives 12V loads directly

• The easyLIN product line of 8-bit microcontrollers is designed for LIN bus applications. Suited to cars and tracks that have multiple LIN bus modules that connect smart sensors and controlling smart actuators used in power windows, wipers and other functions.
• The HVC 22xyA and HVC 24xyA simplify the design and reduce the cost of LIN bus modules by combining all logic functions, peripheral modules, interfaces and a LIN bus interface in a single device.
• The easyLIN’s adaptive architecture suits various applications, including door locks, seats, and mirrors. Its high level of integration makes design cost-effective.
• Integrates 5V and 2.5V regulators, true EEPROM watchdogs and power-driver electronics. It also includes internal voltage regulators that operate directly from an automobile’s 12V supply and withstand load dumps of up to 40V.
• The device also contains a switchable 5V supply output, which can be used to power external subsystems.
