Tornos has introduced its Sigma 20 Pursuit, a sliding headstock turning center designed to meet the demands of the North American general engineering industry. With pre-loaded attachments and accessories, The Sigma 20 Pursuit sliding headstock turning center can turn parts ranging from simple to moderately complex. It has 3 double live spindles for total of 6 axes for cross milling front/back, and accommodates 8-16 front and 8 backworking tools. Unit offers 1-piece core motor direct drive spindles, 5/8 in. tool shanks, 7 hp drive, synchronous rotary guide bushing, and 1-piece cast iron base with built-in pre-cast cooling channels.
