Allegro Announces Low Noise Hall-Effect Current Sensor

Allegro MicroSystems has announces its generation in Hall-effect current sensing technology. The ACS756 is a low noise, open-loop current sensor with a 125 KHz bandwidth capability. Featuring 125 KHz bandwidth capability, ACS756 open-loop Current Sensor takes advantage of low-loss leadframe of CA package and accelerated response capability of integrated core. Internal electrostatic shield shunts effects of voltage transient spikes around silicon and minimizes voltage ripple on output. While suited for various 50-100 A applications, specific areas of use include motor and inverter control as well as power supply control and protection.
