Baumer Launches Linearized Alphaprox Inductive Measuring Sensors

Baumer Ltd. has expanded its existing line of non-contact AlphaProx inductive analog proximity sensors to include models with linearized output for a range of industrial measuring applications. Suited for industrial measuring applications, the non-contact AlphaProx inductive sensors detect metallic objects at ranges up to 16 mm. Units can detect changes in position, distance, thickness, weight, or pressure. Teach-in function allows user to adjust measuring range and select direction of output slope. Offering resolution of 10 microns, sensors can switch between analog and digital output. Devices have IP67 chromium steel housings and operate from -10 to +70°C.
