Coleman Cable Launches Smart Strip Surge Protector

Coleman Cable Inc. has announced the Eco-Logical Smart Strip, a surge protector that not only protects electronics from damaging power surges, but will lower electric bills, too. The Eco-Logical Smart Strip protects electronics from damaging power surges and also helps conserve energy by turning off unnecessary peripherals - monitors, printers, speakers - when plugged-in devices such as computers are in sleep mode. Available in 7 or 10 outlet models, product is suitable for use with computer and entertainment hardware and comes with 2 or 3 Always-On outlets for equipment that should not be turned off.
