Asoka Introduces PlugLAN 8350 Wireless SmartTap

Asoka USA has launched its PlugLAN 8350 Wireless SmartTap (PL8350-WAP), an addition to Asoka's PlugLAN powerline networking product portfolio for hospitality and multi-dwelling (MDU) buildings, which includes a user installable SmartBridge, PLC Ethernet Bridge; SmartPoint, PLC Wireless Access Point; and SmartTap, PLC Ethernet Bridge with two outlets. The PlugLAN 8350 Wireless SmartTap is tamper-proof, permanent-mount customer premises equipment that provides one wired Ethernet port for VoIP telephone service or high speed internet access, plus wireless access point for internet access in each dwelling or hotel room, while retaining full use of both electrical outlets. It provides secure means of delivering data or voice services throughout hotel or multiple dwelling unit using existing electrical wiring.
