ATEN Releases 8- and 16-Port CAT5 KVM Switches

ATEN Technology has launched its Matrix CAT5 KVM switches. The KH2508 and KH2516 are two-console, eight and 16-port CAT5 KVM switches that feature multi-user support. Through 3-level cascading, the switches can expand capacity to control up to maximum of 512 or 4,096 computers. To add remote management functionality, users can connect to CN8000 IP access control unit. Switches feature configuration settings that can be backed up to any USB flash drive, 3 level password, hotkey/OSD selection with auto-scan, and video resolution up to 1,600 x 1,200 within 100 ft and 1,200 x 1,024 within 130 ft. Available in June, the KH2508 and KH2516 are competitively priced at $749.95 and $899.95, respectively and backed by a competitive three-year warranty program.
