FCI Launches SD-Card Connectors for Automotive Apps

FCI has introduced a SD memory connector for use in connecting removable storage devices into automotive multimedia systems. The connector range complies with typical automotive application requirements in terms of temperature range and number of mating cycles. Used for connecting removable storage devices into automotive multimedia systems, SD memory connector fully complies with typical automotive electronics application requirements by operating in temperature range of -40 to +105ºC with 12,000 mating cycles. Pricing for the SD-card connectors starts at $0.85 with availability from 1 to 5,000 pieces to availability ranging from 4 to 6 weeks.
