Flomerics Version 8.2 of EFD Simulation Software

Flomerics Ltd. has announced the availability of version 8.2 of its Engineering Fluid Dynamics (EFD) fluid flow and thermal simulation product family. Based on same mathematical principles of Computational Fluid Dynamics, but embedded in CAD, the EFD v8.2 features optimized mesher for solving complicated models. By recognizing features and parameters on imported solid body, program allows users to modify geometry parameters to take advantage of what-if testing, regardless of where solid model was created. Motion may be added to model components in user-defined animations to allow for realistic visualization of results. The EFD 8.2 is available for immediate shipment.
