C&K Offers Detect Switches for ATCA Applications

C&K Components has developed a variety of detect switches for use in ATCA (Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture) applications. The MDS Series micro snap-acting detect switches are available in vertical and right-angle PCB mount, with 2.9 mm travel, and SDS Series side-actuated detect switches have 2 mm profile and 2 mm overtravel. Featuring top or side actuation, the SDT Series micro mini pendulum detect switches offer 2.2 mm profile, while HDT micro mini detect switches have 3.35 mm profile. The surface mount switches are implemented on server blade as safety mechanism to guarantee blade is powered down.
