Kistler Instrument Launches Strain Sensor

Kistler Instrument Corp has launched its generation of strain transmitters with adaptation benefits for process monitoring. Featuring digital charge amplifier in compact sensor housing, the Type 9238 enables adjustment to processing operations. Sensor sensitivities can be programmed by ManuWare software, which matches sensor to signal conditioners or process monitors. Since transmitter measures force indirectly through proportional material strain, it can be located in accessible locations within manufacturing machinery. Single, IP67-rated cable offers resistance to production environments.
