VPI Introduces HDMI 1.3 / DVI Extender via CAT5/5e/6

Video Products Inc has added its HDMI 1.3/DVI Extender via CAT5/5e/6 to its line of video extenders. The HDMI 1.3/DVI Extender, the ST-C5HDMI-200, transmits digital video and audio signals up to 200 ft using 2 CAT5/5e/6 cables. Each extender consists of local unit that connects to HDMI source and remote unit that connects to HDMI display. With this extender, it is possible to connect local HDMI-enabled computers, satellite receivers, and other equipment to remote HDMI displays. It supports HDTV resolutions to 1080i and computer resolutions to 1,920 x 1,200.
