Saelig Releases Vandal-Proof Keypad for Secure Switching

KP Keypads are a range of economical, rugged, vandal-proof metal key arrays designed as a response to increasing demand for secure switching. These attractive metal keypads are aimed at public and industrial environments for access control, vending machines, kiosks, environmental control and service access, or anywhere that secure data entry must withstand weather and vandal assault. Available as front- or rear-mounted versions for attaching to any flat surface, KP Keypads are offered with 1, 2, 3, 4, 12, or 16 buttons. Manufactured from powder-coated, die-cast zinc with anti-pull key design, RoHS- and CE-compliant, impact-resistant metal keypads are IP-rated for weather, water, and dust resistance, and can operate from -40 to +80°C. Switch contacts are rated at 24 Vdc at 20 mA, while electrical connection is on 2.5 mm pitch terminals.
