Linear Technology Launches Dual Differential ADC Drivers

Linear Technology has announced its LTC6420-20 and LTC6421-20, the high-speed dual differential ADC drivers with guaranteed gain matching, and noise and distortion performance. With guaranteed matched gain of ±0.25 dB and matched phase of ±0.1°, the model LTC6420-20 minimizes errors in multichannel systems. Unit provides fixed gain of 20 dB with -84 dBc 3rd-order intermodulation distortion at 100 MHz input frequency. Input voltage noise is 2.2 nV/√Hz, including internal gain-setting resistors. Housed in 3 x 4 mm QFN package, 1.8 GHz Model LTC6420-20 processes signals from DC-300 MHz, while 40 mA, 1.3 GHz Model LTC6421-20 is optimized for input frequencies of DC-140 MHz. These parts are available in a tiny 3mm x 4mm 20 lead plastic QFN package and are fully specified over the commercial (0°C to 70°C) and industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature range. Pricing starts at $5.22 for the LTC6420-20 and $4.82 for the LTC6421-20 in 1,000 piece quantities.
