Tyco Electronics Introduces WiMAX Dual SPDT Switch

Tyco Electronics introduced an RoHS compliant, SPDT switch for applications requiring fast settling time, low insertion loss and high isolation. The M/A-COM MASW-008899 is designed for use in 802.11 and 802.16 WLAN and WiMAX applications with a bias voltage as low as 3.0V. Designed for use in 802.11 and 802.16 WLAN and WiMAX applications with bias voltage as low as 3.0 V, Model M/A-COM MASW-008899 can also be used in test and measurement equipment applications. Switch features typical insertion loss of 0.4 dB at 2.4 GHz while achieving isolation of 27 dB and P1dB of 28 dBm. Fabricated on 0.5 micron gate-length GaAs process, each unit is RF tested to ensure compliance, and offers full passivation.
