Maxon Motor Expands Range of Brushed DC Motors

Maxon Motor has launched its RE program. The RE 65 power package delivers 250 watts and can handle the toughest demands. Constructed with ironless rotor and 4-pole structure of Neodymium permanent magnets, mechanically commutated RE65 works detent-free and has minimal rotor inertia. Preloaded ball bearings support low-vibration and low-noise operation, and nominal voltage is in 18-70 V range. Depending on winding variation, 65 mm dia x 130 mm long cylindrical drive delivers nominal torque of 0.5-0.9 Nm at nominal speed of 2,400-3,700 rpm.
