Rexroth has launched its BKK and BKR Bridge modules designed to span long lengths without intermediate support. Designed to span long lengths without intermediate support, the modules consist of extruded aluminum profile whose geometry has been optimized for high torsional stiffness. Two internal ball rail systems with 4 steel runner blocks are mounted inside extrusion at 90° angle to each other, maximizing load and moment capacity. Belt-driven BKR module comes in lengths up to 8,000 mm, while ball screw-driven BKK module is available up to 5,500 mm long.
