Instron'S 1,000 Kn Universal Hydraulic Testing System

Instron has introduced its 1000HDX Universal Testing Machine. With design that allows limited number of jaw faces to cover large range of specimen sizes, 1000HDX Universal Testing Machine features dual test space for tension, compression, bend, shear, and flexure testing on high strength materials. Control electronics provide recognition and calibration of transducers, ensuring proper instrument is being used and that data is reliable. The 1000HDX conforms to EN10002-1, ISO 6892, ASTM E8, C39 and F606, SAE J429, standards and is CE compliant. The 1000HDX is available with two different crosshead configurations: hydraulically-actuated open front design for increased productivity and operator safety; and manually-operated closed pocket design when budget constraints are a primary concern.
