Dytran Instruments Introduces Thru-Hole IEPE Accelerometer

The model 3215M1 (10 mV/g) from Dytran Instruments is a piezoelectric accelerometer designed for general purpose measurement of acceleration. Suited for general purpose measurement of acceleration, the model 3215M1 rugged IEPE accelerometer features quartz shear design element and thru-hole design for 360° connector orientation. It features case isolation technique utilizing anodized washers to assure off-ground operation and elimination of potential ground loops. Hermetically sealed sensor is designed for operation where flat frequency response and low thermal coefficient of sensitivity are required, such as ESS applications. Priced at $400.
