MEN Micro Launches Fanless, Rugged Display Computer

MEN Micro Inc. has unveiled its fanless, intelligent display computer that is both rugged and maintenance-free. Combining 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor with aluminum construction, the model DC1 withstands vigorous environments found within mobile, mission-critical, and harsh applications. Fanless, intelligent display computer features total power dissipation of 20 W, and operates over extended temperature range of -40 to +70°C. Unit comes standard with 15 in. display, integrated Ethernet switch, 1 Gb working memory, 2 USB ports, 2 Fast Ethernet ports, and optional UART port. Pricing for the DC1 is $3,132 for a single unit.
