Weidmuller Expands IP-67 Rated SAI Line

Weidmuller has introduced its line of Active Sensor Actuator Interfaces (SAI's) for industrial applications. Available in IP67 housings, the SAI-Active Universal Modules support Ethernet and Ethernet/IP protocols as well as Profibus-DP, CANopen, Modbus, and DeviceNet. Design promotes wiring flexibility for achieving modular and decentralized process control in automation applications. Able to be configured to meet application requirements, modules feature standardized M8 and M12 connectors to facilitate and accelerate plug-and-play installation in harsh environments for up to 16 DIO. The SAI Active modules meet IP 67 protection standards, a choice for harsh environmental applications, and they are cULus listed.
