OMAX Delivers 80X JetMachining Center for Precision Machining

OMAX Corporation has delivered its 80X JetMachining Center with Intelli-TRAX. The product is in arsenal of precision abrasive waterjet solutions. Designed with a footprint of 265" x 152" (6731 mm x 3861 mm), the 80X is accurate large format machines in the company's line of JetMachining Centers and will make its debut at IMTS 2008. Measuring 265 x 152 inches, the model 80X JetMachining Center has Intelli-TRAX traction drive that enables expansion of cutting envelope to 20 ft. It features X-Y travel of 165 x 80 inches, Intelli-MAX Software, programmable motorized Z-axis with precision MAXJET 5 Nozzle Assembly, high pressure direct drive pump, and rapid water level control for submerged cutting. System can calculate velocity of tool path at over 2,000 points/in., enabling complete control over motion of abrasivejet.
