Z-Com Releases CRO2905A-LF Features Low Phase Noise

Z-Communications (Z-Com) Inc. has announced an RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CRO2905A-LF in S-band. Featuring typical phase noise of -114 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset and tuning sensitivity of 13 MHz/V, the CRO2905A-LF operates at 2,905 MHz (single frequency) with tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. The RoHS-compliant VCO, designed to deliver typical output power of 6.5 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 19 mA over -40º to +85ºC range, offers typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -20 dBc and comes in 0.50 x 0.50 x 0.22 inch MINI package. The CRO2905A-LF is suited for satellite communications applications that require ultra low phase noise performance.
