Phihong Develops Level IV 18W Universal Adapter

Phihong USA has expanded its adapter offering with an 18W, 3-wire input 48VDC output version-PSC18U-480(P)-R. The PSC18U-480(P)-R is suitable for VoIP telephone and videoconferencing applications because it does not inject into the phone line the audible humming noise that is associated with the performances of many other adapters. The PSC18U-480 (P)-R has cUL/UL60950-1, CE, and TUV EN60950-1 safety approvals. The Efficiency Level IV-compliant adapters meet Class B emissions levels while overcoming the issue of an audible humming noise being introduced onto the phone line. Approximately 4 x 2 x 1.5 inches in size, the low-profile adapter is encased in a sealed, non-vented, spill-proof case and features an IEC320 C14 inlet receptacle.
