Z-Com’s L-Band VCO Features Ultra Low Phase Noise

Z-Communications (Z-Com) has announced its VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CLV1295A-LF in L-band. With tuning voltage of 0.5-4.5 Vdc and tuning sensitivity of 68 MHz/V, Model CLV1295A-LF delivers typical phase noise of -105 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz along with output power of 5 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 26 mA over temperature range of -40 to 85°C. RoHS-compliant unit features 2nd harmonic suppression of -15 dBc. Housed in MINI package measuring 0.50 x 0.50 x 0.22 inch, device is suited for WiMax base station and satellite communications applications. The CLV1295A-LF is suited for WiMax base station and satellite communications applications that require ultra low phase noise performance.
