Ultraviolet Photon Excitation from McPherson

McPherson Inc. has announced an open-architecture light source system for product and performance testing in varied long- and short-wavelength ultraviolet regions. With ability to test varied long- and short-wavelength UV regions, the Ultraviolet Photon Excitation system provides in-laboratory access to vacuum-ultraviolet for material analysis, spectral calibration, and photo-excitation spectroscopy. It combines properties of computer optimized, all-reflective, spectrally tunable monochromator with MgF2 window Deuterium and/or windowless hollow cathode light source. Light source emission wavelengths include 30.4, 58.4, 73.7, 102, and 121.6 nm.
