Adhesives Research Develops Electrically Conductive Adhesives

Adhesives Research has developed two electrically conductive adhesives - ARclad 92262 and ARclad 92264 - for use in personal communication devices and other electronics applications. The adhesives exhibit adhesion to film and metal substrates, including Kapton, gold, and stainless steel. The ARclad 92262 1.8 mil adhesive bonds to EMI shields, ground plane assemblies, and electrical interconnections. Designed for capacitance sensors, multi-pin connectors, and other fine pitch signal applications, the ARclad 92264 2.0 mil adhesive allows overlapping of multiple contacts without electrical cross-talk occurring.
