MagnaChip Expands Power Product Portfolio to Low Noise LDO Family

MagnaChip Semiconductor Ltd. has released low noise LDO (low dropout) products, the MAP1115 and the MAP1230, for use in mobile handsets and other portable devices. Enclosed in thin DFN package, the MAP1115 and MAP1230 LDO regulators can be used in mobile phones, PDAs, and portable devices. The Model MAP1115 is single, linear LDO regulator that provides 150 mA output current with low noise, high PSRR, and fast turn-on time. Pin-programmable MAP1230 provides maximum 300 mA output current at each port with low noise and accurate dual output voltages with less than 2% variation from nominal Vout1 and Vout2, and can generate 9 voltage options. Both devices are enclosed in a thin DFN (dual flat no lead) package, making them suitable for use in electrical portable applications such as mobile phones, PDAs, and other portable devices.
