Vicon Launches ViconNet 5.0 Digital Video Management System

Vicon Industries Inc. has launched its ViconNet version 5.0 digital video management software. Supporting cameras from 1.3-12 megapixels, ViconNet v5.0 allows operators to simultaneously view live and recorded ViconNet surveillance video as well as control and monitor video analytics functions. The ViconNet VI software, which operates independently but appears within ViconNet 5.0 control window, may be programmed to detect certain behaviors or conditions. Optional 16:9 ViconNet GUI makes full use of screen space on widescreen monitors and maps for Virtual Matrix Controller.
