Miniature circular connectors

• The Souriau 8STM connectors are the “smallest” circular connectors for applications in military environments
• They can house up to five contacts in a diameter of 10mm and with a unit weight of 10 grams
• Miniaturization is made possible by optimizing the contact holding systems
• The contact clips are made of plastic instead of metal. This avoids electrical breakdowns between contacts via the clips, and hence enables the contacts to be set closer together
• Validated from -65 to +175°C, and over 500 hours in salt spray, in the version with cadmium protection
• Stand up to impacts at 300g for 3s and their seal levels comply with IP67 available in sizes 2, 4 and 6 for removable contacts of up to size 26
