ERNI Enhances SMC Board-to-Board Adapter

ERNI Electronics has its SMC Board-to-Board-Adapter, an exciting addition to the extensive SMC 1.27mm (.050") pitch connector line, offering impressive flexibility in its board-to-board heights ranging from 20mm to 40mm in 2mm increments. Available in 12, 26 and 50 pins, the SMC Board-to-Board Adapter stretches flexible mezzanine distances from 20-40 mm in 2 mm increments. Unit has male contacts on both component ends, and securely locks into standard low-profile SMT female SMC connector. Secure soldering is maintained with SMT coplanarity of less than 0.004 in. and integrated metal SMT mounting clips for mechanical stress relief. Offered in antistatic tray packaging, adapter operates from -55 to +125°C. The SMC adapters are available immediately and prices start at $2.00 per piece.
