Belden Introduces Plenum Mini Digital Coax Cables

Belden has announced the availability of its Brilliance Plenum Mini Digital Coax cable (Part No. 1855P), a plenum version of Belden's 1855A non-plenum, sub-miniature 59/U digital coax cable. Suited for HD, SDI, and digital video equipment in professional and commercial applications, including broadcast and cable TV stations, sports stadiums and arenas, convention centers, and other large facilities, the 1855P Brilliance Plenum Mini Digital Coax cable is 100% sweep tested from 5 MHz to 4.5 GHz. It features high velocity foam FEP Teflon dielectric, foil plus braid shield, and flexible Flamarrest PVC jacket, available in 10 different colors.
Rated NEC/CEC CMP, the coax cables feature a high velocity foam FEP Teflon dielectric, foil plus braid shield, and a flexible Flamarrest PVC jacket, which is available in ten different colors. The cable is designed to the same diameter as 1855A, so installers can use the same type of connector - eliminating the need for different tooling and connectors and reducing assembly time and cost.
