Aonix PERC Ultra Supports Latest VxWorks Release

Aonix has released its PERC Ultra 5.1 cross development and target support on Wind River's VxWorks 6.6 real-time operating system and Wind River Workbench development suite. Suited for embedded and real-time Java developers, the PERC Ultra v5.1 offers cross development and target support on Wind River VxWorks v6.6 RTOS and Wind River Workbench development suite. Joint solutions let developers take advantage of Java language capabilities while ensuring critical deterministic behavior requirements can still be met. The PERC Virtual Machine can be run as real-time process, protecting Java applications from corruption by errant C applications running on same system. The PERC Ultra 5.1 targeting Power Architectures on Wind River VxWorks 6.6 is immediately available. The PERC development tools are available at no charge in combination with a maintenance contract. Target execution and deployment license pricing starts at $25K based on projected volume.
