ITT Expands Express Card with 26-Pin Edge Card Connectors

ITT Interconnect Solutions has expanded its express card product offering with 26-pin connectors. Designed to meet PCMCIA demand for 34 mm and 54 mm wide modules, the RoHS-compliant 26-pin Edge Card Connectors and Cover Sets are available with multiple off-sets, customized end caps, host connectors, and single slot ejectors. Connectors offer lifespan of 10,000 mating cycles, and cover sets can be snapped together or ultrasonically welded. Applications include notebook/desktop computers, storage media, wireless/wired communications, set-top boxes, and biometric devices. Typical applications for the Express Card connectors and cover sets include notebook/desktop computers, storage media and server memory cards, wireless and wired communications, set-top boxes and handheld scanners, and security ID and biometric devices.
