SmartAVI Releases CAT-Switch—Audio/Video Switching Matrix

SmartAVI Inc. has announced its innovation; an audio/video switching matrix that can switch audio and video from devices located 1,500 feet away from each other. Providing access to 16 computers from 16 workstations, the CAT-Switch can switch audio and video from devices located 1,500 ft apart, and signals 8 or 16 inputs to any 8 or 16 outputs. Offered in 8 x 8, 8 x 16, and 16 x 16 configurations, HD compatible (720p, 1080i, 1080p) unit can send high-resolution VGA, stereo audio, RS232, or IR. Compatible with Video Composite, S-Video, Component, and XVGA, it can be controlled via software interface, remote control, Internet, or RS/232.
The SmartAVI Video Matrix switches can be installed in command centers, control rooms, boardrooms, educational environments and entertainment facilities.
