Baumer Intros FlexiDrive Positioning Drives

Baumer Ltd. has introduced a line of FlexiDrive positioning drives. Available with 14-bit single-turn and 18-bit multi-turn resolutions, the FlexiDrive systems integrate absolute encoders with various motors, drives, gears, and connectors. They deliver explicit and continuous position measurement, even without power, and can survive challenging environments exposed to impact, vibration, and contaminants. Products can be used to determine current position of tabletop equipment and measure angle of cuts. The FlexiDrive positioning drives can be used on equipment and machinery used in motion control, textile production, printing, wood/timber processing, packaging, machine tool, medical, heavy equipment, and food and beverage processing applications.
