Torex Offers 2 Channel Output Large Current LDO Regulator

Torex Semiconductors has released its XCM406 series of a 2 channel output large current high speed LDO regulator. The XCM406 series combines 2 x high current, ultra low dropout XC6210 regulators in one ultra small USP-12B01 package (2.8 x 2.3 x 0.6mm). The XCM406 has an operating voltage range of 1.5V6.0V and output voltage is laser trimmed within a range of 0.8V 5.0V / channel in 0.1V selections. Ultra low dropout and supply current make the XCM406 suited to all battery powered applications where board space is at a premium. Low voltage drive operation, such as POL power supply with 1.5V input voltage and 1.2V output voltage is also possible. Output current supply of 700mA per channel is available. With the tiny USP-12B01 package, PCB size can be reduced when compared to standard packaging.
