Gamma Scientific Introduces RS-5NVIS Digital Light Source

Gamma Scientific has announced its RS-5NVIS Digital Light Source to test and calibrate ANVIS radiometers and spectroradiometers. Designed for cockpit display backlights where lighting changes from tungsten and fluorescent to solid-state LEDs, the RS-5NVIS Digital Light Source tests and calibrates ANVIS radiometers and spectroradiometers. It features light level setting to 1 part in 65,535 in absolute, NIST-traceable, ANVIS radiance and luminance units, as well as linearity deviation of less than 0.25% rms. Unit is equipped with manual control and ASCII computer interface control via built-in RS-232 port.
