eWON Unveils Two Industrial Routers

eWON has announced its eWON modules, the eWON 2005CD and eWON 4005CD (CD stands for Compact Design).
The modules eWON 2005CD and eWON 4005CD provide transparent Siemens communication between SIMATIC Step 7 on PC and network of S7-300 or S7-400 PLCs, either in MPI or Profibus. With Factory LAN to Machine LAN routing, modules offer WAN Ethernet port for connecting to Internet passing outward through local IT network and firewall. Use of Talk2M grants remote authenticated users access in fully bi-directional VPN link from their PC to any eWON device connected to Internet.
