Texas Instruments Launches Wide Dynamic Range CMOS Image Sensor
(Product News, 24 Sep 2008 )
|
Texas Instruments Incorporated has announced its Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) CMOS image sensor. Optimized for sensitivity, TC922 Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) CMOS image sensor offers SVGA (800 x 600) resolution and boosts bright as well as low-light performance of video surveillance cameras. Integral High Response Amplifier in pixel and Reset Noise Reduction circuit provide CCD-level sensitivity and optimal SNR. Each pixel has photodiode and Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor (LOFIC), which enables sensor's dynamic range to reach 94 dB. The TC922 will be available from TI and TI authorized distributors. Order entry is currently open for the DM355IPNC-TC922 IP network camera reference design and is provided from APPRO Photoelectron Inc.
