AnalogicTech¹s Tom Delurio to present ŒStoring Power with Ultracapacitors¹

Advanced Analogic Technologies Incorporated (AnalogicTech) has announced that applications manager Tom Delurio will deliver a presentation entitled “Storing Power with Ultracapacitors” at Battery 2008, an International Power Supply Conference and Exhibition held at the Congress Center in Nice, France, from October 8-10, 2008. Delurio will speak at Workshop #4 on ultracapacitors and supercapacitors at 5:00 p.m. local time, October 9.
The presentation explains the inherent challenges in providing high current loads in portable devices using ultracapacitors, offers techniques for delivering high current without overloading the host battery, and describes results from sample designs. The Batteries 2008 has been described as one of the worldwide exhibitions and conferences on power supply, with more than 60 international experts. It is the preferred venue for meetings between raw materials suppliers, electronic device suppliers, battery manufacturers, environment and recycling specialists, and battery users. Through expertise and figures presentations, dynamic exchanges, one-to-one networking and key plenary sessions, Batteries 2008 will provide the answers to the most pressing questions.
