Autodesk Announces Feature Data Object (FDO)

Autodesk, Inc has announced the availability of providers developed on Feature Data Object (FDO) open data access technology. Autodesk FDO Provider for GE Smallworld and Autodesk FDO Provider for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 provide geospatial open source community with support for worldwide standards. Based on Feature Data Object (FDO) open data access technology, the solutions promote utilization of native support for additional spatial data formats and let users access, view, edit, and analyze data within Autodesk geospatial software.
